Summer vacation may be over, but sophomore Bethany Dung is returning to school full of high hopes and expectations. She"s lost a lot of weight and is banking on her improved looks to make this year her best yet. She"s got a hot, new wardrobe for her new body, and she"s not wearing her dorky glasses anymore. She"s sure to be one of the popular girls and hook up with the super cute, super popular boy in school, Radson Mitchell. Just when things are going as she hoped, Bethany finds out that being pretty and popular don"t mean a whole lot when she starts disappointing her parents and losing her friends at church, especially her best friend, Bernadette, and new friend, Caity. She must choose what matters more: her relationship with the cool crowd or her relationship with Christ. But maybe, just maybe, she won"t have to choose, and she"ll be able to lead her new friends to God, and they can all be members of The Potato Chip Club. Author Tamiko Sequin was born and raised in the beautiful state of Hawai"i. She continues to live there now with her husband and four children.
