The New Face of Creationism is a radical new view of Creationism that asserts it is not evolution but the dimensions of this universe (relativity, quantum mechanics) that differentiate it from the creation of Genesis. The former did indeed evolve out of the latter, but the difference between its dimensions and that of the original creation is man"s relation to God, or lack thereof. The absolute relation of man to God was broken through sin and became a relative relation to the world around him. This relativity is the same basic concept that Einstein himself dealt with, albeit from the much different perspective of the Bible. Relativity makes it necessary that beings, both man and beast, evolve in relation to the world around them and not to an absolute God; everything around us is governed by relativity and not an absolute truth. Were this universe once again to exist in absolute relation to God, the dimension governing it would be "point"; this single absolute dimension and its implications are one fascinating subject covered in this book.
Pam Powers came to Austin, Texas, in1982, at which time she began compiling the revelations of this book and gradually incorporating them into book form. She also embarked on an in-depth study of the Bible and of Judeo-Christian beliefs from the time of Abraham. Pursuant to this, she has studied the writings of the Danish theologian Soren Kierkegaard, including Fear and Trembling, The Concept of Anxiety, and, in particular, The Sickness unto Death, which is especially relevant to this book. Although she has no formal theological training, her belief is that any believer guided by the Holy Spirit is in a valid position to speak the Word of God with authority.
The author graduated from Texas Tech University in 1979 and currently works for the federal government in Austin, Texas. She was baptized and has been a Lutheran from an early age. She published an earlier version of this book- A Realm of Revelations-in 1994. Это и многое другое вы найдете в книге The New Face of Creationism (Pam Powers)
