Ehren and Keenan are two adventurous boys staying at their grandparents" cottage on Loon Lake. An old abandoned mine across the lake is too exciting to resist, so the boys decided to dig around. Following what they think are proper archeological practices, they uncover more than they ever expected. The boys learn about North American Native lore and spirits, and find that residents in the area are tied to past disappearances from the mine site.
