The Raider is a speculative fiction account of one woman"s meanderings through the dreamscape of her mind. TULE lives a lacklustre life, burdened by loneliness and grief following the kidnapping of her son by her ex-husband ten years previous. However, stumbling upon a memory of a long lost friend from her youth, she looks for and finds him in her Social Media network. Discovering they live in the same town, they decide to meet. BYRON is a holistic practitioner. Tule, intrigued by the man she has rediscovered, is also conflicted by her desires and attraction to him. By default and virtue of her lack of self-esteem she finds herself opting into therapy with him rather than pursuing a more intimate relationship. During these sessions she has an unexpected experience of a past life sending her reeling into confusion. This event shakes her world. Tule must broaden her horizons if she is to believe that past lives are real. And what"s more, she must find a way of incorporating the madness of what that past life is showing her. While coming to terms with the challenges these experiences present, Tule continues to feel distracted and confused by her feelings for Byron. He instructs her to write the story of the RAIDER in order to understand the process. Making a conscious decision to value him as a therapist above anything else, she follows his instruction and puts aside her feelings for him . . . for the time being. In doing so, she begins to have dreams that are uniquely tied to this past life. She learns how an innocent boy could be transformed into a murdering rapist and how the knowledge of what she once did as that pillager, that raider - the guilt and the shame moreover - could maintain an effect on who she is in her present life today. She questions the roles we are all given to play and the limitations imposed thereon. The Raider follows Tule on her journey of discovery through the eyes of her past life as the Raider while simultaneously questioning it through the filters of who she believes herself to be in this lifetime. Because of her own lost son and the dream of the Raider as a boy, she begins to cultivate the dream state in order to learn more about the boy she once was. She explores the possibilities for changing her past and by doing so, she will alter her present. The Raider is a story telling two tales of two lifetimes through one soul. It is a story about potential, possibilities, change and ultimately love. Это и многое другое вы найдете в книге The Raider - A Karmic Contract (Morticia Autumn Crone)
