William Allan Chapple (1864-1936) was a member of the New Zealand House of Representatives and British House of Commons. He represented the Tuapeka electorate in the New Zealand House of Representatives from June to October 1908. Later, Chapple represented Stirlingshire (1910-1918) and Dumfrieshire (1922-1924) in the British House of Commons. His works include: The Fertility of the Unfit (1903), First Principles in the Art of Physical Development (1910), Fiji: Its Problems and Resources (1921) and Alcohol and Self-Control (1925).
