Sir Reginald of Woan, the ageing hero, sets out on his final quest: to find out why the fields of mana, the magical heartland of the Five Kingdoms, are burning. He travels with Dump the golem, Otis Red the apeling and Ebony the nightshade, but they are soon beset by enemies and betrayal; new friends join them and their road takes some unexpected turns. Past riddling maniacs, a labyrinthine palace and warlock kings, through a world oppressed by an insane tyrant and on through magical lands beyond the Rainbow Sea, the travellers battle their way towards home - but there Sir Reginald, Dump and Otis Red must face their greatest challenge yet. LEE MUMMERY has always been an avid reader. Then, one day, he decided to have a go at writing. He is already a published poet, but The Final Quest is his first published novel. He hopes that more will follow. Lee does not have a distinctive style, but describes his books as a mixture of fantasy, sci-fi and horror, as these are the sort of books he enjoys himself.
