Jeannette W. Chapman, "The Story-Teller," has always lived in Cushing, Maine. This memoir of her beloved Brookfield Farm includes 35 old farm and family photos. Her purpose is to share with her grandchildren and great-grands what life was once like on this family farm. Jeannette still lives at Brookfield Farm, grateful that it has gained new life with a younger generation. Grandson Eli has beautifully restored the old barn and transformed it into his wood-working business. He and his young family live on the "other side" of the farmhouse.
