Excerpt from Varicose Veins: Their Nature, Consequences, and Treatment, Palliative and Curative
The short section on the palliative treatment of varix excepted, Part II. of the following monograph consists of a reprint of several papers on the curative treatment of that complaint from the pages of the Medical Times and Gazette. The views advocated therein, relative to the curability of the disease, were first suggested by witnessing the great improvement in the condition of varicose veins, effected by the bandage when employed for the cure of ulcer on the leg thus complicated.
