The Eleventh Volume of the New Series of the Journal of the British Arch?ological Association for the year 1905 contains the Inaugural Address and Papers read at the Bath Congress, and some which have been brought forward at the Evening Meetings in London. The thanks of the Association are due to the authors of these Papers, and especially to Mr. C. H. Talbot and Mr. Emmanuel Green, F.S.A., for their assistance in providing adequate illustrations.
Great regret will be felt over the loss which the Association has sustained by the death of Mr. Thomas Blashill, a former Vice-President and Treasurer, who had done so much good work for arch?ology.
The Congress at Reading proved highly successful, and enabled many members to make the acquaintance of one of the most interesting districts in England. Hearty thanks are due to Mr. Charles E. Keyser, F.S.A., the Rev. P. H. Ditchfield, F.S.A., and a large number of ladies and gentlemen of Reading and Berkshire, for hospitality and assistance of the most warm-hearted and strenuous kind.
