The object of this little work, is to bring under one view the coins of the Romans which relate to the province of Britain. It is hoped that such an attempt mil not only find favour with the antiquary and the numismatist, but will also interest all who are curious in the early history of our island; some of the principal events in which, during a long period of the Roman occupation, are recorded on the coins of the conquerors.
