Bosnia, or Bosna, was included anciently in Pannonia Inferior; and in the fourth century formed a part of that vast district called Illyricum, which comprehended, under this general appellation, Rh?tia, Noricum, Pannonia, Dalmatia, M?sia or Mysia, Thracia, Macedonia, and Greece; and which afterwards was divided into two provinces, viz. Liburnia and Dalmatia.
