The signs of the times appear to indicate that, from sheer force of circumstances, the day is fast approaching when the legislature will be compelled to turn its attention to the amendment of the several laws which constitute what is popularly termed the land question."
Among the circumstances conspiring to bring The- about this result are - (1.) The declining condition of agriculture throughout the United Kingdom a stern fact which has created in about the minds of both landlords and tenants the greatest anxiety and alarm as to the future.
