Excerpt from Family Prayer for Busy People
This is the Day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118 : 24.
How amiable are Thy dwellings, Thou Lord of hosts:
My soul lougeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord, my heart and my flesh erieth out for the living God... I had rather be a door keeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. Psalm 84.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
Answer. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Let us pray.
O God, who by the resurrection of Thy well beloved Son from the dead hast brought light and immortality to light, grant, we beseech Thee, that because lie liveth we may live also; and that, being risen with Christ, we may ever walk in newness of life and seek those things which are above, through the same Thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
