Your mention of the Promenade Concerts emboldens me to make a proposition to you, which has been in my mind for some time. 1 am an old Promenader myself, and, now that I am laid on the shelf, I still remain enormously interested in the subject, and I want to know what you young fellows make of it all, and how much of a fossil I am.
