The Curtis Institute of Music, founded in 1924 by Mary Louise Curtis Bok, receives its support from The Mary Louise Curtis Bok Foundation.
The Institute is operated under a Charter of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is fully accredited for the conferring of Degrees.
The Institute is duly approved by the United States Government as an institution of learning for the training of non-quota foreign students, in accordance with the Immigration Act of 1924.
