This message, left on David Crump's answering machine by an angry phone caller, is the starting point of this investigation into what Scripture actually teaches about emotion and God. He is an ordained minister in the Christian Reformed Church of North America and served as a pastor at Mountain Springs Community Church in Salt Lake City, Utah, from 1988-1997.
