It is with considerable pleasure that we introduce to the public a new piece of Physical Apparatus which we are confident surpasses all previous efforts in effect and simplicity. The important position which gymnastic apparatus is securing in the home as a means of obtaining daily systematic exercise together with the demand made for apparatus at once cheap and effective with more perfect instructions has led us to manufacture the Exercising Bar and publish a manual of Exercises and Movements, showing the particular part or section of the body that each movement is designed to exercise.
These movements have been practically tested by taking each movement separately, and by overwork making the muscles sore; thus proving that the region was strongly affected by the exercise.
