The end of the Polar War presents a golden opportunity to the Republican National Committee. General Thaddeus M. Bennetton- USMC is nominated and riding a wave of military celebrity, he becomes the second African-American to occupy the White House. But factions within his cabinet conspire against him. Secret Servicemen kidnap Bennetton and infect him with a Nanovirus. A fake "assassination" video is leaked to the media...the nation goes into mourning.
