Taking the "E" Ride through the Golden Years, explores the past, present and future of retirement and how those of us already on our rides, and especially the Boomers, may be affected by the current financial and health care crisis. The author explains how we got to a place where people expected to retire and sail off on their "E" ticket ride, having the time of their lives, to the present when we wonder if retirement will even be possible for most of the Boomers. Along the way we take the rollercoaster of aging and receive suggestions on how to live our older lives to the fullest. We also learn about ways to cope when things aren"t so "Golden," if we should have trouble staying on our ride.
