Richard Pannell, a native of Sacramento, CA, began his career in the culinary industry in 1982 by catering a yacht cruise in the San Francisco Bay Area for a local businessman and friend. Thus began a long and rewarding career in the catering business for Pannell. According to Richard: I was inspired to write poetry with the influence of food and sensuality is because I love them both. With food, we eat with our eyes before we eat with our mouths, as we do with people we are attracted to.
