Why this book? It just has to be written. That"s what all authors will tell you. There are many shelves full of great stories and novels about Golden Retrievers. The breed deserves to have a complete library not just a series of shelves devoted to their backgrounds and stories of their lives. Golden Retrievers come to us through several avenues. The most popular source is usually through breeders. Regardless of where your Golden came from they are all angels that love and keep watch over us to the end. I will try to take a different slant on the Golden Retrievers by telling our story of how one organization is providing Golden Angels to loving homes. This organization is Golden Retriever Rescue, Education, and Training (GRREAT). First let"s read about what is a Golden and then get to know what GRREAT is all about. I will take many paths in getting to the point of telling the GRREAT and our angels" stories, but that is just me the eternal long and the many times off-beat method of telling a story.
