This book has taken shape following nearly two decades of visiting multiple classrooms ranging from preschool to high school. It is about creating an enlightened bridge between the quantitative and qualitative approaches to educating students of ALL ages. It"s about sculpting students in such a manner they become the critical thinking, well-informed, spiritually oriented, intelligent majority. Just contemplate that for a moment. What if the majority of human beings presented as a collective of intelligent, inspired, fearless, "out of the box" thinkers who changed the future to reflect the potential of selftranscendence for all human kind! What if we stepped out of the deficiency model for human kind, and instead moved briskly into the efficiency model? While this text does not attempt to sell itself as a scholarly work, it does present as a timely addition to both the educational and human potential movement communities. The target audiences include parents, educators, university teaching programs, and individuals interested in evolving an emotionally healthier approach to raising, educating and acknowledging the bright new souls coming our way. S.E. BROWN Left-Brain Related Ms. Brown"s credentials include a M.Ed., a B.A. in Psychology, and an Associates in Fashion Merchandising/Middle Management. For 17+ years, she has practiced as a Licensed Educational Diagnostician, and for two years served on the board of the New Mexico Association of School Psychologists as a regional representative. In graduate school, she worked as an Examiner for the Early Assessment of Reading Skills NICH project. She has both volunteered and professionally tutored students academically. Right-Brain Related She presented at the China/U.S. Conference on Education on developing the Intrapersonal Intelligence in the classroom. As an undergraduate, she served as a Research Assistant at Texas Children"s Hospital coaching pediatric cancer patients in relaxation and visualization prior to invasive procedures. She taught children guided visualization and relaxation at a holistic school and the Jewish Community Center, and "Manifesting 101" to adults through Leisure Learning Unlimited.
