With a regular program of exercise; the energy derived from the enzymatic activity of raw foods, the building blocks of protein, from vegetables, fruits, herbs transform earth chemicals into active bio-chemicals needed for body energy and function. Reasonable and regular intake food volume necessary to support all body function should be adhered to as often as possible. Over consumption of foods, in particular fried, sugar laden highly processed foods contribute to development of obesity and eventual development of Type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, arthritis and so many more disease processes.
Stress reduction, regular periods of rest and sleep, spiritual uplifting activities, are all part of a broad based approach in disease prevention. This is the contribution that we can all make in the effort to reduce the cost of health care. These are preventative practices we can all embrace.
