ABOUT THE AUTHOR
This is the first novel for Dennis Murphy, a retired systems engineer, knowledge engineer, software developer, project manager, entrepreneur and adjunct college physics instructor. He was inspired to write Brain Waves to articulate his own beliefs about life after death.
Murphy has personally designed and contributed to artificial intelligence applications like the one described in Brain Waves. He earned a bachelor"s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a master"s degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder-the primary setting for this novel- where he once owned a small business.
